Background

Day 1: Meet & Fly In

Meet in Talkeetna, conduct a gear check, fly into the Alaska Range, and set up camp.

Day 2: Skills Day

Crevasse rescue refresher and familiarization with the area and conditions.

Day 3+: Climb Your Objectives

Pursue selected objectives based on conditions, team ability, and weather windows.

Final Day: Depart

Pack up camp and fly back to Talkeetna.

What level of experience do I need?

You should have previous multipitch climbing experience, be comfortable with alpine rock or ice. Having prior experience with glacier travel and crevasse rescue can help maximize time on objectives. If you're unsure about your readiness or need to build skills before the trip, contact us - we can work with you to get you prepared.

What gear should I bring?

We provide all technical climbing gear (ropes, protection, ice screws). Personal items like boots, crampons, ice tools, harness, and appropriate clothing are recommended, but we can supply gear if necessary. A detailed gear list will be provided upon booking.

What are typical weather conditions?

Alaska weather is highly variable. Expect temperatures from -10°F to 40°F depending on season and elevation. We build flexibility into itineraries to work with weather windows.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations more than 60 days out receive a full refund minus a $500 administrative fee. 30-60 days: 50% refund. Less than 30 days: no refund unless we can fill your spot. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
